NFCH organized a Seminar on "Communal Harmony : Challenges and our Future" at D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh on 15th to 16th February, 2010 in collaboration with the NSS, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur with the objective, to sensitize the youth about the needs of promotion of communal harmony and national integration.

NFCH organized a Seminar on "Relief & Rehabilitation of Victims of Violence" at SKICC, Srinagar on 7th October, 2009 in collaboration with the J&K State Rehabilitation Council with the objective, inter-alia, to sensitize the implementing authorities about the need for timely and effective rehabilitation of victims and effectiveness of ongoing rehabilitation schemes in the State.

In order to sensitize the police force to play an effective role in promoting values of communal harmony, the NFCH organized one day Seminar on the theme “Ensuring Harmony: The Role of Police and Civil Society” at Guwahati (Assam) on 23rd September, 2009 in collaboration with the Assam Police. The Seminar helped in extending message to the Police force that while performing their duties they are also acting as an ambassador for promoting communal harmony.

In July 2009, Mysore witnessed communal violence and bloody clashes resulting in rampage, damage of public proerty, loss of life and clash with police personnel. In this backdrop, NFCH organized a Sadhbhavana Rally and a Seminar on "the promotion of value of Non-Violence, Harmony and National Integration at Mysore on 1st September, 2009 in collaboration with the Mysore City Police. The Seminar successed in extending the message of promoting harmony, peace and national integration and adoption of principles of non-violence for resolving conflicts.

In order to sensitize the police force to play on effective role in bringing the problems of communal dis-harmony under control by conveying proper information to the public about impending communal discord or potential communal flare up and by removing fear from the minds of the persons of different communities living together, the NFCH organized one day Seminar on the theme of “Role of Police in promotion of Communal Harmony” at Bhubaneswar (Orissa) on 18th August, 2009 in collaboration with the Biju Patanik State Police Academy. The Seminar has helped in extending message to the Police force that while performing their duties they are also acting as an ambassador for promoting communal harmony.

In the backdrop of the sectarian violence in Haryana and Punjab during May 2009 due to the fatal incident in Vienna, Austria, NFCH organized Sadhbavana Rally followed by a seminar on the theme of “Promotion of the Principles of Non-Violence, Peace and Harmony” in the twin cities i.e. Jagadhri and Yamuna Nagar in Haryana in collaboration with the District Police Administration on 29th July 2009. A comedy called “Hinsa Perma Dharma” based on the story of Munsi Prem Chand , depicting the life of a common human being who is all innocent but whose innocence is defiled by the so-called Dharma Gurus was played by Jan Natya Manch, Kurukeshetra. These programmes have heartily influenced the masses and succeeded in spreading the message of non-violence, peace and harmony.

To make the women aware about the communal harmony; to chalk out a work plan for wider dissemination of the role of women in promoting communal harmony; and to make them aware about their role and responsibilities during a communal strife, National Foundation for Communal Harmony organized a seminar on the 20th March 2009 on the theme of "Role of Women in Promotion of Communal Harmony & National Integration at Indore (M.P.) in collaboration with All India Women's Conference, New Delhi.

Foundation and Uttar Pradesh Police organized the students' debate on the theme "Education, Students and Communal Harmony" at police Line Azamgarh and Mau district of Uttar Pradesh on 29th and 30th January, 2009 respectively. 100 selected students participated in debate.
