The book has Twenty-Two stories in Hindi and English. These stories are written by eminent writers of the country to promote communal harmony, national integration, brotherhood, tolerance and  non-violence among children.

This book is collection of research papers presented by scholars on 'Secularism' (Sarva Dharma Sambhava)  in a national seminar organised by Rani Durgawati University ,, Jabalpur and sponsored by the Indian Council of Historical Research and the University Grants Commission.

The monograph by S.K. Agnihotri enumerates some of the major factors responsible for societal disharmony and suggests multi-pronged strategy to promote communal harmony.

2. Religious Violence and youth - A Study of the Urban-Slum Youth in Mumbai (2004)

        This is a case study of the urban-slum youth in Mumbai regarding their perceptions about religion and violence in the name of religion in which an attempt has been made to understand their psychology in the background of communal violence in Mumbai during 1992-93. The study was conducted by Helen Joseph and Amruta Loverkar.

'Samaji Hum Aahangi Aur Maashi Tarraqqi' is the Urdu translated version of the monograph 'Social Harmony and Economic Development'.  This monograph is edited by Rekha Dwivedi and Salahuddin Ansari and translated by Abdul Aleem Qidwai.

Sale of publications

The publications of the Foundation are available for sale in the office of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony either through cash or cheques or Demand Draft. A discount of 10% on marked price on every book and 15% on the purchase of whole set of NFCH publication is available on all the publications. However, for bulk purchases special discount may be considered as may be decided by the competent authority. For outstation orders or for orders to be sent by post, the buyers should include Rs. 25/- extra per book in addition to effective price of the book. For the book Commissions of Inquiry on Communal Disturbances, postal charges will be charged from the buyers at the rate of Rs. 200/- for each set.

STUDIES UNDERTAKEN BY THE FOUNDATION

The Foundation has undertaken the following studies during the previous years.  These studies mainly focus on the existing status of violence affected children and their families under the Project ‘Assist’ of the Foundation and its evaluation based on the data collected from the field.  

 The above studies are available for consultation only in the library of the Foundation.

 LIBRARY   

 The NFCH library has nearly 3000 books and other documents on the subjects dealing with communal harmony, national integration, secularism, comparative religion, etc. besides various reports of inquiry commissions on communal disturbances, subscribed journals relating to communal/social harmony, plan documents, research studies, thesis/ dissertations on communal harmony, riots, terrorism , casteism, etc. as shown on the website.

Researchers/readers may access to bibliographical records of the Foundation books and consult the library on any working day during office hours.
